Another custom responsive WordPress theme, built using the Grunt pre-processor with Jade ( now Pug ) and Sass with the Bootstrap library.
DP Seals’s previous site was originally built using Dreamweaver as a static html site (some 100+ pages) using Dreamweaver’s template system for updating or adding pages. Because of the size of the website ( and various micro-sites ) it was decided that it would be easier to bring all the sites together as a simple CMS for easier updates and maintenance.
This project has since gone through many variations, such as a large responsive video banner on the home page.
The site was first built pre Bootstrap using a collection of WordPress shortcodes to assign column widths to the pages (2col, 3col, etc.) Flex was later used also to balance the columns of the various grids, such as the downloadable documents sections.
We’ve also introduced the popular Chemical Compatibility Database, a searchable php/ajax application for clients to compare the cost implications of rubber variations.
